I understand both sides of the story here. Ive dealt with chris he was really easy going and gave me plenty of info that I needed to make his project work. he was very understanding about the fitment of the fuel rail i sent him. It wasnt a perfect fit the first time due to the fact that I simply didnt have the same inj he was using. But him and I were able to communicate no probs. Chris knows his shit when it comes to cars. If you havent seen his build thread he's built his car step by step with the help of the forum.

Fact is that he is purchasing fab parts from us guys on the forum to complete his project. He is dealing with us and supporting us forum guys other then buying china junk sh*t or ebay sh*t or even takin his car to anyone local mechanics. This isnt the first time he got sh*t on buy us forum members either. If anyone remembers one of our forum members sent him a poorly welded dog bone mount that snapped righ after install, so you can understand his fustration.

Honestly he paid good money for a manifold that to our knowledge was not even installed in a vehicle or built on a jig. Theres isnt a shot at all that the fitment is gonna be anywhere close to fitting chris b13. Matt should really man up for that one.

Chris should be willing to make things work by making some modificaton to his set up (not to the manifold or DP), which I believe he is judging by our dealings in the past. He isnt expect everything to just bolt up perfect but at the same time what we are selling him needs to atleast be in the ball park.

As far as customer service. You can take this from me (a proud business owner) I dont care how pissed off you are at the customer there is no reason to talk to the customer the way you have. Its deff not gonna get you anywhere in the business world.

This has everything to do with the forum. This is where the whole deal started. Chris see's us fabricators posting our work and simply wants to pay us for our skills.

Not chosing sides here but just throwing in my 2cents. Ive been in chris's shoes and on the other hand I currently run a business so i know exactly how customers can be.
Bottom line is all of us on the forum should be getting along. Not fighting like bit**es over some money.

Just throwing this out there also to all you big baller customers. Would you pay $1,600.00 for a manifold + DP that you had to modify to fit your car?

Get this stuff solved guys. Life is too short.

yes @ashton, that's the one you got from me...I said FULL sized radiator not a dual core, I wish I still had the pics but I do have this one

here it still didn't fit perfect, I had to trim the dad support. that civic half size radiator just BARLEY fit

as to what @Doug Fab said, it's not like that at all!! Cody told me I was a full of shit and called me a liar when I said the manifold did not fit. changed his number and completely ignored me
there is a threshold for everyone's breaking point, I guess Chris pushes Matt to that point, and why do you say this has everything to do with the forum, business was conducted completely off the forum, no msg's transpired here. take it to Facebook where drama lives

Chris, cut the down pipe in half and ship it back. I'll put flanges on it and the right sized vband. As far as the gate, you'll just have to make that work. It's not getting into the radiator that badly and changing the dump tube around would take some considerable time.

Fit everything on the car after you cut the down pipe to rule out any other issues before you send it obviously. This is the last chance.

Also, try contacting me first next time before making me look like shit. I would have been willing to do all this from the beginning had you not flamed me for things not fitting properly.

Matt everyone knows you are a stand up guy. Everyone does have there breaking point but I know you have enough pride in your work to make this right for chris.
Hes not just another paying customer off the street. Hes a fellow forum member. We all need to work together.

Chappy is right on the drama. It wasnt absolutely nescessary to bash matt on the forum like this.
Chris could have solved this with matt via a phone call.

I hope you can get this worked out, it sounds like u will.

Good luck.

This sign I believe it 100% and I make sure when I say a price, I don't want to hear a negotiation, but if I FuqUp I will fix it.

It should get fixed by the designer/fabricator. It has happened to me many times, I don't fuss, I just go fix it. I've had welds break, or fitment was too close for comfort and things started to burn or make contact. I've always fixed them. I stand behind my work 100% nothing less. I've always learned from those mistakes, and it makes me better on the next project.

I apologize for flaming you. in my experience people don't do anything unless they are put on spot. I manage a IT Team, and Encourage the same.. I did start our transaction here on the forum. I PM'd you about the quote and everything.

Anyway, I really appreciate you trying to help me out that's all I wanted. The people here on the forum deserve to see your nice work, and how you stand by it. I have had a lot of purchases, and the expensive ones I tend to make my mind up first. I did my research, saw your work and made it a choice to contact you via PM.

If I wasn't so convinced that everything would work I would understand that its custom. but you insisted that I would have no issues, and I went with that in mind.

I have been building motors for a long time and have not spun one bearing, throw rods, or any other mechanical parts.
we have folks that go thru motors every 3 months so I know what I'm doing. And I support the forum because you have ALL helped me with issues before, and use all the information her in the info/tech sections. (besides that fucking eng control fuse ugh!)

I tune my own cars,my friends cars, hell I even have picture of a built k20/k24 on my Facebook I built

I will cut the manifold right before the pie cut to give you some room. the o2 bung should be in the same place as the downpipe I made that's in the pictures I sent you.
I will have to figure out how to setup a half radiator.I tried to move the radiator back but it hits the hood latch.
I will ship it back to you. are you paying for return shipping?

I would make all these mods if I had a tig, just don't want to rust all of this art to shit with my HF Special mig.

There were forum messages exchanged here.

this is the feedback section, what do you expect?

his company Facebook page was the best contact for him until he offered me his number.

So did you try and work something out with Matt before posting?

And if you publicly humiliate people under you before talking to them that is the WORST management I have ever heard of. I've always buffered my employees from mistakes/issues and get great results out of them. If they won't do anything unless you put them on the spot then you don't have their trust and you aren't building a cooperative environment.
