Did the guy get insurance on it? He definitely should take this back. If he doesn't he's making it bad for ever other seller on here cause everyone will be afraid to purchase because folk don't stand behind what they sell

Damn man, I'd be pretty pissed off myself. He could of spent some extra doe to buy one of those sturdy rubbermaid containers to ship a head. Just don't get some sellers and how they just do a piss poor job on packaging. I remember getting a set of shocks and springs in a beat up box, I even ask the seller how in the hell can you ship something heavy in a box that was basically already torn up. His answer, I didn't have a big enough box so I just found something that worked.

F'ing shit just happened to me yesterday. FROM A SPEEDSHOP!!! I dunno if people think they're packages are lifted carefully up and down, but not even bubble wrap or anything, and I even told him to please protect the cylinder deck. Oh and this is after I cleaned the entire block so I can get some descent pics of the surfaces that were damaged. Basically what you are looking at are the corners smashed down from impacting on the bottom of the bin with only some newspaper on the bottom...

Post up what I should do, I sent the seller pics already and told him I'm not sending it back, but I would like him to pay a little for the repair costs. Is that a fair deal? Considering its almost impossible to find a really great condition block now adays that doesn't have melted pistons on the cylinder walls.

Damn guys, both examples of HORRIBLE shipping. That falls on the seller, they should accept return and FULL REFUND of all funds.

No questions asked. WTF chap!?! Bent bolts? I mean, that distributor/cam cap is insane. Seriously?!

Full refund should be given. Everybody with common sense knows shipping companies ain't treating your ish like fine china.

i know tell me about it, when i ship heads or blocks i take extreme care in packaging because they are very vital parts and and sometimes can not be repaired...i asked for my money back and he refused, really that is just bull shit...if that was somethingi sold i would gladly refund the money, not say "sorry i can't do that" bascally means he spent it already but that is fine, im going to the post office tomorrow to see what they think i should do, and i am calling fed ex today...whatever, what comes around goes around, just waiting for a mod to chime in .

dave if you used paypal put a claim in, 'not as described/damaged'...

i told him i was posting pics and a bad report, he obviously wont be posting...we'll have to see i guess.
