That is just how the community rolls my man. Funny thing is you all bashed me for bitching about all the punk ass scammers who will try and do fishy things like this. I have given away more parts then selling some times. One customer tried to make me believe the USPS priority mail did not deliver his sr20det starter. Whatever the hell.

I have an ultra rare sr20det series 2 s14a alternator that I may just throw away instead of getting scammed on it. They expect these parts to magically fix their cars and when it has other problems they expect parts for nothing. I would not issue a refund unless legally made too. Unfortunately the seller assumes most all responsibility in selling it.

When I was living in an apartment, I had at least 4 boxes delivered to the wrong apartment by UPS. Its funny too, it was always UPS that screwed it up, never Fed-Ex or USPS.

andreas have you ever considered paying extra for ups for signature mandatory for ups?

Doesn't UPS require to have items signed off? I know all items that I get from UPS have to be signed off or if I'm not home, they will retry the next day. I know Fed-Ex doesn't require signature, they just drop off at door unless shipper pays extra for signature confirmation.

Does anyone know if UPS have the option to drop packages off at nearest UPS Store to be picked up?

I live in a Appartment complex, everything gets left at the office if nobody is home. UPS fucked up...

I've had stuff sent to me that was either mis-delivered or stolen off the front step and been treated by the seller as if I were a thief when I complained.

I've seen UPS deliver $4,000+ worth of photographic gear and drop it with a neighbor (who was on probation for felony theft), without getting a signature . . .

I've seen sellers ship empty boxes and use the tracking to "prove" they provided a product.

I've bought from you (Andreas) in the past and have complete faith in you and would do so again without a second thought.

Shipping as much stuff as you probably do (I don't really know how much but it seems like it would be a pretty large amount), I think that running into something like this now and again would be inevitable. The question is, is it more cost effective in the long run to require signature proof (and perhaps lose out of some sales, because frankly, sometimes it's just not possible to be there to sign for some people, of it's inconvenient enough to make the purchase not worth it), or to end up losing money on a deal now and again. There are arguments either way and no clear consensus.

ups likes to leave the boxes in front of my house or on the side, i guess they dont care about what they do cuz i live in the fucking hood in homestead, and they left a box there and i lost a fuel pump thanks to UPS.

ups and fedex are lazy and will leave packages at the front door or the wrong front door. I have had this happen a few times. I have resorted to insuring all packages and signatures are required. I only ship through fedex. I also make sure I declare the actual replacement value of what I am shipping. Some apartment will not sign or receive packages. when this happens ups and fedex with throw your shipment in the bushes if your lucky.

It happens all the time. If the package is insured then start a tracer with UPS and they will reimburse you the money.
