Someone payed me for a Alt on Dec 16th, I shipped it out Dec 17th at 6pm. with USPS 2-3 day service. The package is listed as being recieved at the postoffice on Dec 18th.

He has not gotten it today which is Dec 21st. It shows in transit, should have been there today maybe on Wed.

This guys is already threating me with a Paypal complaint case.

I am like damn. Does this guy realy feel I am going to take him for a $68 shipped alt.

Now the USPS does not deliver on Sun. My 2-3 days ends on Wed and I am sure maybe mail is slow because of the Holidays and told him so. He siad he contacted USPS and they said mail is on time.

So all I can do is just laugh and go with the flow now.

USPS has been horrible. I was supposed to get a package on the 18th and it's still not here. Tell the guy politely to chill out .

Some just don't understand how much gets shipped during this season.

He has the tracking info, and it shows as being received. That's a USPS problem. Buyer should understand that. I will stress the word SHOULD.

Common sense says that if you supply a good WORKING tracking # then it is out of your hands. Now...if you get the alternator back, then I would refund the money. I wouldn't bother sending it back. He can then arrange for pickup on his end, if he still wants it.

Taking the time to publish your issues before they come up is very respectful.

Whoever it is should calm the f*ck down and be rational.

The 2-3 day service with USPS is not a guarantee at any time of the year. It is an expectation on the part of USPS. Overnight service is the only thing they guarantee.

I just sent a Postal Money Order in advance to a forum member in TN. 2-3 day Envelope from USPS, with tracking. It should, under normal circumstances, get there in 2-3 days. Xmas-time is NOT normal circumstances.

However, I PM'd the tracking number, and the serial number off the Postal Money Order. After that, it may take 2-3 days, it may take a bit longer due to the Holidaze. However, it is clearly in transit. After that, it is up to USPS.
