Infiniti parts USA
Ordered an In Stock Gtir heat shield on Feb 19th. Called March 2nd for a status as I had not received anything except the order confirmation. They stated they were not sure if was in stock or had to be ordered. If it was in stock it would be overnighted to me, if not it was to be ordered. Fast forward to today. No emails, no calls, no parts. Call them up again. Oh we don't know what the status is and the guy who placed the order is off today, ok let me speak to a manager. Manager comes on, excuses, excuses, excuses. Cancel my order, you guys are useless.

This was my first and last experience with Infiniti parts usa.

u wanted a gti-r heatshield and you thought this would be in stock? you didnt think to call for this before ordering? ya know since the vehicle it comes off of DOESNT exist in this country..
i understand why your mad but please tell me you understand what im saying and agree that you went over board.. cause if you dont agree that would make you nuttier then a crunch bar.

Actually they keep alot of jdm stuff in stock sometimes. VVL, and primera parts most of the time. If you order through IOS i recommend talking to Justin in the parts department. He did one of the 1st VVL swaps in his p10 for a article in Nissan Performance Mag if any of you guys remember that.

Also I know they did just change locations recently so that could attribute to the mix up.

I heart infiniti parts usa (infiniti of scottsdale). I've been buying all my oem Infiniti G20 P11 parts from them since 2005. Justin is the man...its best to order through him over the phone and he makes sure your getting the right part for your car. Great customer service and quick shipping.

If it wasnt in stock then it had to be SOP. The parts dept will check up other local nissan dealerships to see if they have it in stock, or from the distribution center (Garden Grove, CA), or have it shipped from japan.

I work in the parts department so I know how this goes for wholesale customers, technicians, and walk-in customers.

Once again, the part could have taken a month to get in for all I care. The fact is, I placed an order online for a part that said it was in stock on Feb 19th. Come March 2nd I had no part, and no form of communication from infiniti usa. When I called to find out a status they didn't have one, and it appeared from their confusion that they never even processed my order. 1 week later still no communication from vendor so I call back and they still didn't have a clue as to whether the part was in stock or on order. If they had communicated to me that the part was on order, or wasn't on order, or if they had their heads out of their asses I wouldn't mind. I am fully aware of how Nissan motorsports, Nismo and other forms of JDM companies work. I have been in this game long enough.

I went overboard? So if you order a part form a company and a month goes by and they have not told you if they even processed your order you wouldn't be upset?

I would of done the same thing.

Didn't know theu would have such and item.

Try Greg, or look for one in the for sale adds. Its good you let others now of your expericance.

Already talked to Greg, and I have already placed my order. Should have went with my always reliable always there for me vendor in the first place.
