My Name is Jason Giannas,I and I am writing to let people know what i have went through that affected my life. in the past 3 years. I found this guy Junior Mahabir in a retail store in queens on Horris Hardin express way in a store name CLAWS. I went in their to buy headers and intake for my automatic Nissan 200sx se at the time. he ordered them and told me he would install it i agreed, when the car was finished, i realized that he went to home depot and bought a duct material they use for ventilation, he made a intake out off that, sounds professional right??? The headers were from ebay, it was ok. I didn’t know about cars at this time, so i went along agreeing, ok! it looked cool!!! then i had a incident after.. we had a rainstorm about 3 years ago and drove into a huge rain puddle and water went into my engine bay and my car was constantly having problems. i then took it to him i must of spend a good enough money to fix it.basically it came down to the intake drained with water!, he must of bought 3 maphs and still didnt work. soo i junked the car.... He then convinced me to buy a NISSAN 200SX SER from CT,

I bought it from a private owner for $2350.00 Jr then told me to turbo it!!, I had $$$ at the time to do that, instead of buy a NEW CAR!! he said its fun to drive a turbo ser!. I asked him how much it would be and he told me, $6000.00 for the turbo kits it was a USED t25 turbo kit off a nx2000 that someone he knew,. plus other misc accessories, engine mounts $150.00 upgraded, rota wheels with falcon tires $1000.00 , short shifter $150.00 , greddy blow off valve $250.00 jdm headlights $600.00!! upgrated clutch $500.00 light weight flywheel 500.00 and labor 800.00 to install all these parts by the way the motor was a stock de. U.S. i loved the car, i had no problems. 6 months later I go on my break to grab something to eat from nearby my JOB. Upon my return from my break, 1 hour and a half later I leave my job to go home, and I went into the parking lot, and my car was stolen!!!!(I don’t know if Jun was behind this but I don’t put it past him). I then kind of realized I should have put wheel locks and alpha locks and alarms, but as you all know I am a newbie when it comes to this hobby.

The next 2 days, I go back to Connecticut with Junior and John a friend at the time from Pennsylvania. He knows Jun, they call him zipstrips.... I bought a green clean ser out there in Connecticut and was driven home that day. Jun started to work on the car. he never gave me receipts for the car because he didn’t want to pay taxes and told me " not to tell anyone because he didnt want to split the $$ with damion, the other partner at tarmac! at the time. soo he can pocket the money, and he aslo said “hes was getting the parts for cheap prices but wasnt giving me the cheap prices.!”. So I went along with his trust! I then started hooking it up from a stock 200sx green car to, add ; a light weight flywheel, engine mount upgrades poly urethane, dogbone mount, clutch upgrade, jdm headlights/hids/suspention, wheels , tires, etc, then I went turbo!!!!!!!!!! AGAIN….. $6600.00 +++ more to come...


This time I bought a motor that Jun told me was his in his red Sentra!!! I said really!? He told me it was built, with king race bearings, jun 264 * cams, arp bolts, headstuds/king race bearings, port polish, cometic head gasket. So I bought the engine for $2500.000. Jun then charges me $1500.00 to swap and install the motor, i bought a turbo kit also t28 brand new, with kit for $6000.00 with 3'' exhaust canister and pipe. I then powder coat few things, 400.00 in powder coating went through 3 ecu's!!! for 160. + 80 each($720 for ecu’s that were claimed to be dyno tuned for my setup)!!!for wiring harness they didn’t work!!! Finally figured out i needed a upgrade fuel pump. It took a genius to figure out??? short shifter, fidanze flywheel, clutch $1200.00. i bought vollk rims from a guy who ownded a nx 2000 . i also bought . suspension ,shocks and all that the car was in his shop for about a little over 6 months!!!!! proof from his old shop TARMAC!! Damion is evidence! I then drove it for about 1 week!, then I was driving and my car started to sputter.... my intercooler pipe came off. it took jr, 2 weeks to get hold of my car, then he convinced me to paint the engine bay, we agreed to color it GOLD!!, IT WAS taken to a body show down the street next to Tarmac and it was there for a good 3 months, finally it finished, Jun told me to get a better intercooler and piping and all, he then orders me a PWR intercooler that cost $850.00 shipped. I then receive it and Jun tells me its too big it wont fit. he said he will force it to fit. Everyone who came to the shop told me that that **** is too big for a t28 turbo. He then tells me he can’t refund me. “I said u ordered it its your mistake u should pay for it “. So I was upset about that and I ATE IT. He then charges me to install the same motor again $1700, plus more for the wire tuck and all m, i also received used injectors which I was told that was new.


He never dyno'd the car on the reprogrammed ecu... I drove the car, out of the shop and it was in the summer of 2009, the weather was horrible rain the whole time. I had no windshield wipers, I removed it so the engine bay looked clean. So I cant drive the car in the rain my fault for that.. Jun finally finished that swap took another few months, after the paint shop did my engine bay. After I drove my car out of the shop that night I drove it down a strip and, my coolant hose pops out! My temperature gauge was rising and I pulled over, towed my car to his shop next day and the coolant hose popped off.. He simply reattaches it and charged me $200.00. few days after motor leaks, charges me $300.00 to fix the crank (I don’t know how you can fix the crank with it in the car but like I said I didn’t know), I then drive the car again for about 3 good weeks total out of those 3 weeks probably 6 days cause alot of rain in the summer occurred. Then boost 2nd 3rd gear and I heard a knocking noise,. I messed a bearing up!!! I didn’t not go past 8 grand.. everyone said car was never tuned correctly.


I then bought an AEM standalone BRAND NEW to put in the car before the motor bearing went. Jun never put it in, he used for the car event and I was very disappointed!!!!! My car would have probably no problem. I then buy a motor from jdmenginezone and Jun charged me $1500 to install it (stock det) he starts it up and the bearing was messed up, he then said he fixed it for $500.00, I had to go to jdmeginzone to get my money back cause i had a warranty, Jun then fixes it and I drive it for 1 week and the car would pass 5600 rpm , it would sputter a lot, someone told me it was fuel cut, Jun then took the car bak and fixes it and says just buy a VE MOTOR and we willl have no problems!!! he promised he would not charge me because of what I am going through!!!, he then finally puts in the VE motor I bought from jdmengizone, and took about 4 months to complete because he couldn’t get a fuel rail for the vet because nobody made it, so i bought a jgy one and Jun says the it wont work, so i returned it and the guy called me from jgy and said you mechanic doesn’t know what he is talking about, Jun replies and says JGY is a **** hole they know nothing, finally after 4 months . Jun charged me $2300.00 for the swap vet with his JMR fuel rail, and dyno.
I called Jun to ask him when we can dyno the car, he said in a few days so it finally came and he said the guy is dynoing a boat, he said after he is done I can come and see the car dyno for a few hours later. I call Jun back because he never calls! me back ever. Bad service, poor communication and he tells me the car just got dyno'd im like wtf? I didn’t see it, He tells me it made 270whp at 7lbs, I then pick up the car the next day and ask him for a dyno sheet for proof, he told me he didn’t have it and he would get one next week, printed out for me. Thats odd...... I then push the car off the dyno and it was hard to do, it was jr and i trying to push the car down of the dyno, I posted pics of my car on his dyno,. in his shop. we finally finished taking down the car, he told me I will see smoke coming out of the exhaust for a while because the motor hasent been running, so I drove home about 40 mins away from his shop, I was about 3 mins from arriving home and alot of smoke started coming out of my exhaust, white color, everyone on Jericho trpk was gazzing at me I didn’t think this was normal, i then pik up my friend to show him my car and he said thats not normal, I call Jun and ask him way its like this... he said “dont worrry its ok...” I take my car and pull it in my driveway and 4 hours later about ... I take my car at night and drive it around cruising, i never went past 5500 rpm!!! all of a sudden I was in 2nd gear then to 3rd and still driving I see my temp gauge go up!! I quickly immediately pull over to the side and cut my car off, I waiting about 20 mins to let my motor cool, and went into a rite aid across from me and grabbed antifreeze, I then put it in the radiator cap, and it took almost all of it!!! soo i drove home and about 5 mins later, my car started to get hott again little over avg on the gauge! I then call Jun he said its ok ONCE AGAIN I said it may be a head gasket. So then I asked a lot of people and they said it has to be, I felt coolant out of my exhaust, I had enough of Jun’s talkkk,,,,,,, and liess....


So i went to force fed engineering in deer park and they started to work on my car, finally they took pics of all the problems Jun has done to my car!!! my head was warped, all the wiring harness was rigged up messy, bolts were missing in a lot of area, there were a lot of boost leaks, gaskets on the pipes were missing and there was no filter for the intake of the turbo, so much mess, also my injectors were siliconed to the fuel rail, and they cracked! I had to buy new ones, I was heated up after i couldn’t take it, Ed from force ffed engineering felt very bad of what i went through, I was thinking my car went on the dyno he raised the boost too high and it raised my head, to cause anti freeze in port # hole 4, Ed showed me everything that was done, Jun once again screwed me, $2300.00 and I couldn’t take it no more.


At the end of it all I had all my trust in Junior to buy top quality parts, I thought I was getting the best of the best but I was only getting second hand stuff. This is a run down of my dealings with Jun aka Urbanracer aka JMR, I have done more setups with him that all had the same result I would say 3-4 more setups.(note there are parts that i haven't added with extra labor. plus buying him lunch every time i went out to the shoppe.!


**** I am not hear to prove anything to anyone i am hear to reveal that you have a crook hiding in your camp and you guys can choose which ever side you want but i dont need a team to back me up.i wonder why he hasnt stated any facts ?

Here is a list of what is wrong with the car.

Motor:

Head gasket is blown, water jacket is pressurized on cyl 4. Picture of the blown head gasket below.



Head is warped .004" and needs to be cut. Below is a picture of the newly machined head. Compression is 250psi across the board and motor is solid




Motor now has an OEM metal gasket from gspec




Intake manifold:

N1 additional injector ports were blocked off with rtv silicone sealant. They were also leaking




Only 2 of 4 bolts holding runners to plenum, other two missing.

Charge pipes:

Charge pipes had holes in them from rubbing on the jaggedly cut rad support



All clamps loose on all couplers, pipes not even connected in some spots.

Intake air temp sensor threaded into an 02 bung on a steel pipe (all other pipes aluminum, wrong thread and pitch, threads damaged on sensor and leaking)

rubber caps on charge pipes, no clamps, cracked and leaking

Miscellanous problems:

1 bolt in oil return flange, oil leak

2 of 3 bolts on downpipe

msd vvl control wired to constant 12v instead of key on, kills battery overnight.

leaking 1000cc injectors, you can unplug injectors while car running and it will stay on

distributor cut and ground to fit vvl head, improper distributor

bolt tightened so much it stretched 1/4"

Cam cam bolts broken because they were overtightened.

bumper held on with two screws.

1 sheet metel screw holding intercooler on

lower tabs dont line up with threaded bungs or bolt in, core just flops around behind bumper



No exhast manifold gasket

loose/misc wiring hanging low under car and zip tied in corner, some dragging on the ground.

1ST DET SETUP. JUN MADE ME BUY THIS WATER PUMP BECAUSE MINE WAS SHOTT. HE TOLD ME TO PICK IT UP FOR HIM AND HE WILL EVENTUALLY INSTALL IT, NEVER DID, NOR THAT SHORT SHIFTER YOU SEE IN THIS PIC. (ALSO I GOT CHARGED FOR LABOR WITH NO WORK DONE.


my car and i, missing grill, took about 4 months tooo get 1, o yea i forgot he took the grill off JAMALS 200SX THE GREEN ONE THAT ALL MOTOR AND GAVE IT TO ME.



MY BOY JAMAL IN THIS PHOTO. , JR TOOK HIS GRILL OFF HIS CAR AND PUT IT ON MINE,SOONER OR LATER I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM JAMAL ASKING FOR HIS GRILL????WOW..

If this isn't poor work, then i dont know what is. Sure everything "looks" clean but clean doesn't mean good work.

I calculated 25k. which isn't 70k but still, I wouldn't pay a penny for work from this Mahibir person to work on my car.


6,000 twice for a stock det turbo setup thats 12k right there. not to mention it never ran right so he said he had to buy 3 different ecu's which was a total of 720. Then the supposibly built DET motor which wasn't built at all for 2500. and Now the VVL motor for 2300 that Junior blew up and gave back to him saying it is running flawlessly and the pics prove that the motor was not only beat on but "over boosted" more then just once which caused that HG to become so damaged like that.

I told jun to give me back my money,,, 2300.000 for the swap he did that was screwed up! with the dyno supposely done, and ill call it even, but as a inexperienced business guy, he refused and stressed me out.

i was going to buy a new car, but i love the SER and i should of paid sum1 i trusted, i would of had a nice ser and a nice chunk of change in my pocket.
