I love how this turned into a "I hate this forum" rant all the sudden. Sell your crap honestly and we won't have issues.

As for you Vadim, I believe you are a solid guy. I think you just got duped by a con-artist. It happens. Actually, I almost met up with you to buy your B15 or G20 (I can't recall) a few years ago, but didn't in the end because of emissions reasons. We've been talking on this forum for years. Mr. Martinez adds NOTHING positive to this forum and should be on a black list himself. As in, "don't sell anything to this guy" - go look at some of his old posts from the last few years. He has harassed others too, using racial slurs, and worse. I have received PM's from people he has done this to, who asked that I not involve them in this. It's not just me.

If he did harass you, I highly encourage you to seek legal action against @91sentragti-r.

I added you to the list because I would have be pissed if I got the header to find the same kind of damage/fixing on a "good" header. Since we can't ask the NSA for proof of you sending those pictures, I can only go by what I see on the forum. Once again, if I was buying the header from you, I would most likely not even ask for additional pics because I would trust the pics you posted on the forum and information that you posted.

I also highly encourage you to stay on topic in this thread, there is no reason to not only rant about the forum, how you almost bought my cars, how a member may or may not add anything to the forum. That all doesn't matter, what matters is you were dishonest and are now dancing around the issue.

We currently do not have any rules surrounding what constitutes someone to be on the beware or blacklist, we are going to codify rules, that way in the future we can hopefully forgo so much nonsense.

I do want to also mention that this thread is a "Seller/Buyer Beware List" and not a "Black List" for say, I know it sounds like semantics, but Black list is someone who should be avoided and banned from the classifieds, while beware list is, deal at your own risk based on other members past experiences aka just an extension to the feedback system.

If you read the very first line of this thread it says:
Buyer beware, the following is a list of users who have had complaints reported against them, provided courtesy of SR20 Forum.

You don't have to be a criminal to be on this list, if you did something dishonest and a member reported a complaint you will go on the list as the rules currently stand.

Since this is open for discussion...

Grievances: The classified section is also NOT your forum for airing grievances - we have a feedback section for that, so keep it there.

IMO, had this been adhered to the situation would have never escalated and we wouldn't be here today, two years after the sale. Probably would have saved the mod staff many, many headaches as well.

No member should have to put up with another member "warning potential buyers" in every, single one of their For Sale threads. That is indeed what the feedback section is for, as it is written.

I opened it up because I didn't feel like it was fair for me to post and others not to post (I'm just getting back from a weekend long camping trip so only now seeing all the messages).

This doesn't mean @Storm88000 should go of on another mile long off topic post, which will be removed btw.

I agree and after this point it will not be allowed, I believe I already expressed my fair warning to both of them to keep away from each other.

Please do keep in mind that this is not a classified rule discussion thread. This is a thread for adding and removing users to/from the beware list (read: not exclusively black list).

The rule which you speak of is there to prevent a specific sale thread from turning into a grievance about that specific sale. If the sale goes wrong, you create a new thread in the feedback section (to make things manageable, and easier to search in the future, etc.). It does not preclude what Oscar was doing. What he's doing is warning/informing forum members, not making a grievance. This is why we allowed it, and still will allow it.

Thank you for clarifying @Kyle, my understanding of what is considered as a grievances was incorrect before your post. I do think we need to extra clarify this now in the forum rules. Anyone wonder why the US has so many laws on books? Things like this. Everyone finds a way around the words to get their way.

Meh, so be it. Guess it doesn't matter much at this point anyway.

What this ordeal taught me is that our rules are too vague, and that our staff was not on the same page of what the Beware list was for. This led to inconsistent enforcement of rules and understandings.

Thus I would like to clarify that this list is not a Black list, it's a beware list where anyone that had a bad dealing could request the party to be added to the list (after admin review). Currently there is no set minimum limit of what it takes to be put on the beware list, thus intentionally miss-advertising an item is sufficient to be put on this list.

We are working on codifying a Black list, this list will have more specific rules and will be for serious offenses, like stealing the money and never shipping the item. After the blacklist is codified, we may choose to eliminate the beware list and have iTrader feedback function as the beware list for single transaction issues. If a user keeps on miss-advertising items, after certain amount of warnings/strikes, they will be put on the Black list.

OK.

So Vadim says Oscar and I are to ignore each other or we will be banned, then Kyle says it's okay for Oscar to post in all my for sale threads. Sounds like a lot of conflicting information and rules. You two need to get your shit together. I think Ben Fenner is the only mod who has been consistent.

I don't have much else to say after pointing that out. Nor do I have anything to sell besides the entire cars if I do go for the 300ZX, and I really really want it. I already have 2 in mind.... Just taking the time to do my homework and research..
