Thread: from auto to manual

hey calum. i'm going DET in my se-r which is auto. eventually i'm going 2 swap it 2 a manual when i get all of the parts. what i'm asking is how would i have 2 go about getting my ecu setup by you, if i'm running auto than which to manual? Would i have 2 send my ecu to you again when i swap over? thanks 4 your help.

You would need 2 ecu's but you can run a auto ecu on a MT car w/ a check engine light.

Ah, thats easy. Send me your current ecu (must be a 93 auto ecu), and I'll set it up for a DET auto program. Order an additional set of chips programmed for a manual DET ($5), then just swap chips when you do the manual swap.
