Knock Sensor Error with Calum Basic, Maps?
Hi Calum,

This is Garry from Jamaica. Guess I've decided to post here as your pm box is filled.

You did a ecu for me earlier this year.

Can you:

1. email me the maps for it?

2. say if you had by-passed the knock sensor as I'm getting a knock sensor error.

If you dont remember my email you can let me know

Please note: Not totally saying it's the ecu as I will be changing the knock sensor in the meantime.
.

Thanks

Calum, I also would like to know this, I am getting code 34 but not sure how it is affecting my Calum Basic ECU on my VE - I have heard rumors that Calum Basic program for a sr20ve ignores knock sensor or codes associated with it? Please confirm.

most of the VE tunes that are listed on the old forum do have the knock sensor ON. if you have a code 34 that means one of 2 things. A) your knock sensor is bad and not giving 560-570 ohm resistance or B) your knock sensor wire is fubar some where along the line and needs replacing. if you pull a code 34 your car will most likly be running off the knock maps and calums tunes usualy have the knock maps the same as the regular timings maps.
