Well if you aren't willing to learn and get dirty, then you are pretty much bent over at their mercy at ANY shop you go to.

I would suggest another shop though. The bare minimum would be to get 3 quotes from different shops.

Why don't you check levelten?, it could be expensive but you'll get THE BEST auto tranny available.
