Thread: Need a Engine supplier here in so cal...

Im looking for a vg30et for my z31.

I usually go to soken trade in sun valley for this but they said they dont have any of those motors at the moment.

Anybody know of any other motor suppliers I can try that are local to socal?

id just rebuild it, its a safer bet.

ive been hearing good things from this shop on the other sr20 forum...Nippon Motors although i dont know from personal knowledge.. theres also engine trend Engine Trend - Google Maps (they dont have a web site) i was going to buy a sr20de from them,.. although at the time i wasnt as knowledgeable back then and got cold feet. they recommended i replace head and valve cover gaskets and a few other things so i assumed it was a blown engine or something,.. later found out that when buying a used engine these arnt bad ideas at all if your one of those guys trying to maintain a car and engine.. (ME) so thats why i never bought one from them but they had a pretty big warehouse i was impressed.. a major plus, they do ship to Your house,.. most places only ship to your house. and the 2nd major plus,.. receptionist chick is a babe!
