You can use white silicone grease for brake slide pins. Basically the same stuff as ES and Prothane grease. Easier to find and cheaper.
We have a big ass Nissan can of white silicone grease and work and use that whenever I do poly bushings on anything.

I sprayed wd40 in that area and the noise went away, but now there's a different, altered noise where it sounds like the slight clunking, but different tone.

Front or rear progress bar? Did you tighten the end links while the car was at laden weight and ensure the connections were not pre-loaded anymore than they have to be?

It was for the rear bar like the OP. Yes, it's installed correctly. I noticed the noise before the bar was installed, but went away for awhile after I sprayed the wd. Now it's bad so I'm assuming that bushing needs to be replace. But upon searching, that one seems impossible to replace since I believe oem doesn't sell it as jus the bushing.

New bar installed, did new bushings go with the new bar? If so, why would the noise come along with new parts? I am trying to understand what exactly happened in a step-by-step stage but I am not getting the full picture I do not believe.

If you want new bushings, I would try Addco for d-shape bushings that connect the sway-bar to the body that do not require any lubricating at all. No mess, no fuss.

I've always do this, especially for the inner D-shaped bushings which make more of the noise in my experience.

Not the spray. It comes in a big can with a screw-on lid.
