Its bolt in. Just remember the plates go above the strut towers inside the engine bay.

You need to be a bit more definitive as there is also a stainless steel (or metal, whatever) ring/plate which goes inside the strut tower.

The circular metal rings (should have 3 bolt holes) go inside the wheel well between the upper mounts and the GC plate. It is used to distribute load along the inner portion. The engine bay portion of the strut tower does not have a flat surface for the plate to sit evenly on

One of the most important things not to forget: Make sure you have the correct inner sleeve/bearing to match up the shock OD to the GC plate. Other than that, as above, they bolt right in

This was spoken about fairly recently and the plate issue is mentioned in numerous threads. Hope this helps! @NissanGuy , you even commented one of the threads only but a few months ago

My bad I failed to mention you had to separate the portion that goes on the actual strut to the portion that goes above the strut tower inside the engine bay.

Also, one more thing to note: You need to measure the thickness of the plate as (although it looks like you have a newer design, but do not quote me on this), some of the older plates were just a hair too thick (maybe .5"??) to mount on the B14 towers correctly/evenly and had to be milled down to sit evenly on top on the towers.

Goodluck!

Don't you have to remove a bracket on the passenger side...any info on this?

...bracket can be seen below, at the edge of the strut bar mounting bracket.

The only other thing on that side is the Power Steering line, if my memory serves me correctly, and that had a bracket attached to it which mounts it to the rear portion of the strut tower. I removed it in my install and just bent the line out the way (made my install a little easier), but later on placed it back with no interference.

Not sure I recall any other bracketry being on that side that has to be removed. Mind you, my plates were installed on a B14, and I have a sneaky feeling the B14 and B13 had slight variations in that area and the B13 could very well have a bracket on that side.

B13 v. B14...that could be the difference. You can see the bracket on the white B13 above...just outside of the upper left camber adjustment screw.
