wheel offset for drag application
question I have jdm awd b13 am running a d2 coilover setup I would like to run some 15x8 on r888 235/50/15 tires what offset should i go with that would give me the best tyre to road contact patch I don,t mind flaring the fenders or even fitting some fender flares I just want the best grip I could get

I had 235/60/15 MT ET drag radials on stock B14 rims that cleared my Progress coilovers by a cunt hair. I'm sure you could run almost any 15x8 you like. I would go with like a +25 offset or so.

With coilovers you should be good on a stock b14 wheel offset or better. I have 24.5/8/15 slicks on b14 wheels with kyb/stock size struts and they clear the tires. They rub on expanding at high speed so I need coilovers or a different offset. I would also like to know what's the best option for drag racing with both street tires (drag radials) and slicks as noted above.
