Yep, exactly the same except in the B13 you have to pull the top of the rear seat bench a bit to access the towers, whereas the B14 you just open the trunk because of how they were designed, but if you don't keep rear seats in your car during the season (like me) then you're good, just slide back and adjust them as needed..

That's what I was getting at. To adjust the AGXs, you don't have to leave half your interior at home. Once the shocks are setup, you shouldn't have to touch them, unless you want to roll around town with them cranked up incase a race happens.

Oh you don't have to remove the seat, just bend it a bit towards you. In the B14 you pop the trunk and lean in to grab them. I was just saying I usually don't have my backseat in there anyway.

From what I've seen, (assuming you're going up from soft) you're probably getting about the equivalent of setting an AGX from 1 to 2.

Well yes, it has to be that way if you only have 4 options. Each change means more

My point was more that the range of adjustment on the KYBs is already pretty narrow.

Hell, I had KYB AGX's paired with Eibach springs on my 98 SE for about 2 years and thought they were great, but in the end 2 of them blew. But I also had 17" wheels (never again will I do that) - 16" is as high as I go in these cars and I prefer 15" anyway.

Thank you Eric. That is such a pet peeve of mine!

Mark, I have been running Koni 8611 inserts in my ITA car for years now. I run 600lb springs front and 650lb springs in the rear. I kept adding rebound to the rear and the car kept going faster. Now I am out of adjustment so I need more spring. I think Greg Amy was running 900lb front and 1100lb rear springs with that big rear sway bar in his ITA NX. I believe he figured out that the suspension works best on these cars when you keep it from working too much! If you call the guys at Koni N.A. they can valve a set of 8611s for your application. For our race cars it really is the best way to go without spending 2k plus per corner. I would not bother with the Chinese coil-overs for a race car. Too much unknown with them. You can't go wrong with Konis. My 2 cents.

This. Exactly this. I have both and can tell you the K-Sports don't even compare to the 8611's. As soon as I can afford to, the SE-R is getting 8610's as well. I can't stand the Ksports.
