I used the inner tie rod kit from autozone. Worked like a charm. It's basically a really deep socket that goes thru the length of the tie rod. Only problem I had was the mislabeling of part numbers in the parts store inventory. Seemed like no on can get the parts right for this car. Make sure u compare ur old parts threaded section to match the new part. I got a part wit incorrect threads and I almost ruined my steering rack. Btw, my car is b13 se-r.

@Keo

Ok Vadim, as requested. Sorry for the delay, I ran out of work Friday before taking pics (where I left the Moogs).

Outer thread length - 2.172 inches / 55.1688 mm

Outer thread diameter - 0.538 inches / 13.6652 mm

Inner thread length - 0.461 inches / 11.7094 mm

Inner thread diameter - 0.614 inches / 15.5956 mm

Outer thread diameter (contrasting perspective) - 0.523 inches / 13.2842 mm

Let me know if you need anything else!

@coach, I did this last night on the passenger side. One thing to note: on the P11, you will have square lock washers which prevent the Inner Rod from "walking off' the rack itself. I heard of them prior, but didn't realize they were to be replaced as well and had a hard time getting it back in to place enough for me to not worry (that and the proper toque specs as well). With this in mind, I decided to not take pictures as I was occupied with said washer and learning how to use the tool (which was a breeze! Thanks @Keo!). I will have to go in and replace the lock washer with a brand new one as I am just not comfortable with the shape of the current one on there.

Once I go back in, I will do a quick write up then if you still need it . However, it is relatively straight forward as literally you have 4 things to unscrew; the castle nut on the outer tie rod, the lock nut on between the outer and inner tie rod, the outer tie rod and the inner tie rod itself.

The tool I used is the one below with the 1-3/16" crows foot (as Ben has mentioned)

The second autozone one is all you need. We use them at work everyday of the week.

@Boostlee measuring the "thread pitch" in those pictures made me laugh when I first saw it, but I didn't have the heart to post back then.

I do now. That's not thread pitch.
