cheap B14 options
I am looking for a cheap option to lower a B14 Daily slightly.Just want to get rid of the 4x4 look, but not bouch all over.
I was thinkiong Hyperco/agx...but what about hyperco/Gr2 for a cheaper option?
Do you guys think the GR2s are up to the task of the hyperco spring rates,or would they blow prematurely?

CSK and hypercoils... Do it. AGX's have worked fine for me though. I still need to ride on some CSk to see the difference.

CSK aren't really needed for a daily. My experience on AGX for daily drivers is that they really get the job done and they can handle the Hyperco Spring rates. However, for the price of AGX/hyperco new, you COULD get Blair Ellis' used GC setup he has for sale and get some Koni inserts and make your own CSK's.

I know they are basically stock, but I wasnt sure if they would hold up tp putt-ptting around on a daily that never gets tracked or pushed.

I have csk/hyperco on my B13,and love it,but I am not looking to put that much money into it.

Guess I need to find a used hyperco/agx setup or leave it alone. That will cost more than the car.

I'm not sure you were aware of it, but I have gr2 's with cut springs on the SEL's front. It took the front down about 1/2". The rear has Tein basics. GR2 's with untouched stock springs is what I had on before, and honestly there was much difference on the street. Disconnect the front bar and you'll have about cheapest lowered setup you can have. Just don't tell anybody or they'll flame your ass.

What Hank said, If you tell anybody, you will be borderline crucified.

damn, thats crazy,hank...I just sent you a pm about your suspension setup, since I rode in your car on the street and track in ohio.

Then I look here and see this post
So you just cut one coil off in front, or what?
I thought I sold you some B13 front springs to try? maybe that was someone else

this car is a 200sx se so it may not have a front or rear swaybar from the factory.
I will actually have the car in my possession in a few days...I was just trying to get the jump on this.
