Steel is a 99.

xx% carbon alloy and most aluminum wheels are a 99.56% aluminum/0.44% silicon, copper and/or magnesium alloy. So yah, I guess the name still applies. But to
both steel and "aluminum" wheels. Unless you want to say "alloy" is short for "aluminum alloy".
