I ran 380/350 on a B13 and it was downright comfortable even for a few commutes. It would get old after awhile but your B14 can comfortably handle at least that much.

I'd say 50lb more 430/400 or 440/440 would be the maximum you should run on a B14 after that the chassis really won't take anymore without being a full race suspension.

350 is plenty for a street car and at over 60mph the B14 is more prone to snap oversteer imo. Its also more controllable but your initial instinct of 325/300 will almost be soft. It will handle a lot better w the right dampers but you could go pick your mom up at the airport and she wouldn't notice other than your car is once again really hard to get in and out.

On my B14 autocross/daily driver 505f/505r.Tein ss coilovers. Not as cushy as my wifes Corolla, but liveable. On both ends they are 200mm(8in) springs.

Ran 440/400 and wouldn't have minded 500/500 personally on my B14.

I've been looking for stock suspension so I can send out my Tein SS setup to be rebuilt and revalved for new springs. Going with 425 440.

Unless they're puking oil,I'd leave them alone. You can go with the stock valving +/-2kg.Or in my case +3 in front,+4 in rear.No issues daily driving, and none during my 20-25 autocross events per year As always, your results may vary.

Yeah but you think 350whp is an entry level street setup for a B14.

I have a spare set of stock B14 fronts for sale currently

Had a chat to the guys who will be making them, they said they'll do springs in increments of 2kg from 4kg - 12kg. Extra charges for spring rates between the standard increments.

Sitting them at 6kg would be 400 all round, or fork out some extra and go 435f (6.5) 400r (6), or 400f (6) 370r (5.5).

Roading here varies alot from bitumen stonechip to tarseal, potholes to perfect flat runs etc. Thinking of keeping it on the softer side for that reason. Adding a rear sway bay compensate a little for going softer spring rates?

Length of spring was another issue, smallest standard size 180mm or 7inch. Extra charge for smaller springs.
How vital is having the rear at 6inch springs? i understand that you may need it to get the rear to drop so you don't bottom out by having the collar set so low.

The spring size depends on how long the damper is, really.

6Kg is too soft in my opinion. I would go 8kg/6kg if you want softer in the rear or 8kg all around for a more tail happy setup.
