Bang sound toward the front upon going over bumps, even surfaces, Help guys
Ok, I ran over the curve a few weeks back. I bend the control arm and shock.

Had new shock put in, CV axle, ::new control arm and ball joint on driver side put in. Had the car align perfect. Also put new ES sway bar and links bushings in while at it.

Now, when I go over a bump or even surface on the streets...I heard this "clunk and metal bang under my foot, front driver side. Iam so pissed don't know what could go wrong. Please help.

I had a similar noise when my tranny mount bolts snapped.

Check the bracket that clamps the big bushing of the control arm, if it's slack you would feel it under your feet, had that same problem and that was the culprit.

Yeah jack the car up and check for loose nuts and bolts on which ever side the noise is coming from. Something might just be loose, but there could be a stripped nut or broken bolt. If you have old or worn bushings or mounts they might have given up the ghost when you hit those curbs

A few months ago I had a similar problem. Every time I went over a bump or hit a pothole or even upon accelerating quickly I heard a clunk. Took it to a shop and they had me replace the front suspension. Problem wasn't fixed and got worse, so I checked and found a loose bolt on my front left lower control arm. Tightened and problem fixed!

I will check the Tranny mount, CA bushing on the rear. I just so piss off to a point I want to sale it.

My mechanic indicated it might be the new ES bushing, since they are more firm, it might not be as elastic as the OEM. Which might cause the bang sound???? hmm...I had change many times on all of my B13 before, not problem.

It's not the bushing unless it split but that's not very likely.

The other thing you might check is your lug nuts, once they get loose they make a thunk. Loose/broken sway bar bolts can do this as well.
