Thread: road magnet springs clunk with agx

so i've had the road magnet springs installed on my 93 sentra along with the agx struts since september of '10...now idk why but anytime i go over a small bump the rear springs/struts clunk...now it's not affecting performance at all but it's really annoying and now i have some $ to play with and decided i should really get it checked out..has anyone ever had this problem before? i mean could it be the top hats or the spring not sitting right?

if i remember correctly they said putting a rubber hose around the bottom coil of the spring where it sits on the perch may help.

Yep. If you don't have the isolators, or they're worn, you'll get some noise.

isolators..hmm you mean the top hats?
