I may just go for it. Probably get 300/200 spring rates if available.

I had Ksports on my spec 5, I followed a BS how to on a spec v forum that said to "turn the spring perch 3-5 turns once it touches the spring" took it for a spin and was ready to take them off and throw them in the trash. Called Ksport the next day and the tech laughed at me on the phone and explained pre-load to me. I really wanted to smack that fool that made that how to........

I don' t know if this reply is way too late, but it may be good for search archives.

Years ago I had Tein Type HAs and I got new springs that were the equivalent to Hyperco spring rates, and it was a world of difference. (I had helper springs, too)

If you run a fat rear sway, the car is really neutral with a slight lean towards oversteer.

Tein HA kick ass! love it on the pulsar, feels much much better than a SS!

Whoa old thread lol.

For people that want to stick with the Tein SS on a B13.

336 front 280 rear is what you want if you're going to DD. I got my Tein SS for my NX2K with the spring rate that come on the B14 SS and it's not harsh at all. Before I ordered mine I did some searching around and found alot of people that stuck with the stock spring rates for the B13 (448 Front and 338 Rear) had a few issues with the ride being too harsh for daily driving.

You won't get charged for changing the spring rates prior to ordering.
