Thread: Road Magnets and KYB GR-2's on B13?

Anyone ran this setup before? I know it's not a great solution for a suspension, but I am on a budget for a while and already have new GR-2's on the car. Thought about buying the Road Magnets and pairing them with what I already have.

Roads around here are fairly smooth btw.

I just put my set on last friday gr2/rm. So far so good, I also got a set of kby sturt bellows w/bumpstops and I cut the bumpstops in half to give me a little more travel. A lot of people say it's not a great combo due to the gr2's not having enough dampening but so far so good for me. The roads around me are fairly smooth and I don't race the car so I don't forsee much problems for now. The ride is a little stiffer than factory, but not jaring and it doesn't kill my back.

Since you're on a budget I'd say do it, but start saving for some agx's cause if you're hard on the car I'm sure you'll blow the GR2's eventually.

Cool. I do plan on doing some racing in the spring, but I might have enough saved up before then to swap to a better shock. Thanks for the info.
