Thread: redrill wheels?

well, apparently no one wants my brigs. so its either throw them away, recycle them, or find another use for them. no ones car in the family fits, so they are just taking up space.

so the next idea was to make them be able to fit my mazda. basically go from a 5x114*3 to a 4x114*3 or 4x100. so i was thinking of maybe getting them redrilled (dont know if thats possible). problem with that though is that the wheels are already drilled for 4x100 and 4x114.3. so i think that eliminates that possibility i think.

possibly be able to swap hubs with a NB miata and redrill the rotors for 4x114.3

unless there is an adapter that goes from 5x114.3 to 4 lug. then again i have no idea, hence im asking.

mods, shouldn't this be in the suspension/chassis/brakes/wheels/misc/haha/omgwtfbbq section?

Your wheels are what bolt pattern? 4x100 & 4x114.3? si?

and your car is what bolt pattern?

my car is 5x114.3. the wheels are the dual 4lug bolt pattern 4x100 & 4x114.3

Anything can be done with enough money. I've seen BBS meshies get redrilled to 4x100.

I'd say try harder to sell them.. LoL

why convert 5 lug to inferior 4 lug... Ya know??

the wheels are discontinued. i love the wheels, and you cant get anything better for the price. its just that no one wants to buy them unless they lowball the hell out of me. that explains it really. im not asking much for them either, but still. i guess no one wants them. so i figure put them to good use if i can. otherwise they can just sit and take up space i suppose.

would love to have them filled, redrilled, and then powder coated.

Have you only tried selling them on SR20 forum(s)??

We are a cheap crowd... Have you tried Criagalist, eBay, hondatech?

not yet. soon enough though. thinking of trying craigslist soon though.
