Strut gasket
For anyone who had done new struts and springs, did you reuse your old strut gaskets? Did you remove them and not replace them? Or did you replace them when installing your new stuff? I'm getting ready to throw my new suspension on and was wondering if those little paper like gaskets are worth even bothering with spending an extra 45 bucks on.

For reference these are what I'm talking about:

I replaced all of my suspension rubber, all the gaskets, everything.. most of it was still okay in my '96 and didn't need it.
Can't say for your '91.. i know shock mounts are going bad in cars of that age though.

As for the paper bit, IMHO, not worth replacing unless they've cracked apart into nothing.

When I did my rear struts, the gaskets were all torn up, so I did not replace them. Now, the rear squeaks all the time, even over small irregularities in the road. The bushings are all stock, no poly, so I think the noise is coming from the strut top rubbing on the body. I am planning to go to NAPA and buy some gasket paper and make my own.

I've got all new mounts, bushings, and bearings. I just forgot to order gaskets when I ordered everything else. I was just trying to figure out if it's worth waiting for the gaskets to come in. I'm sure the gaskets are cracked and torn up. I think my struts have been out once but I'm not 100% sure.
