Looking for a lower oem type spring
Edit: Springs purchased from the Eggman...
This may seem crazy, but I'm lookin' to lower the ride height on the front of the SE-L by using some sort of inexpensive oem solution (read, pull it off a junkyard turd). They will be mounted on GR2's, so the spring rating needs to be close to stock. I do no want to cut anything, just compress, pop in and go. I thought I read somewhere the NX spring would provide a lower ride height than a b14 spring...true or false?
Has anyone tried using any other oem type spring, Nissan or otherwise to get rid of the "it looks like my car doesn't have a motor in it" fender gap in the front of their B14?
Just a little background, my Tein basics need a rebuild and the GR2's will be used until I get the coilovers back...hence the temporary "junkyard" solution. I may also use the GR2's for the winter months....last winter is still fresh in my mind...
Thoughts, experiences, recommendations?
