Thread: i need help with tein ss coilovers

I have tein ss coilovers with tein pillow ball mounts front and back i had them install from a place around my house and they put it to low. i already went through two axles. would like to know at what height is good for dd in nj

Try a 1 or 1/2 inch drop. You should got some adjusters with them..

You probably didn't get an answer cuz the title of your post was very vague ( pretty much everyone here is looking for help ya know... )

Yeah, check the ride height of the B14s around the forum with Hypercos and emulate that.

Too low = no good.

with the car on the ground your axels should be parallel with the ground. they also can be at a upward angle towards the transmission. The hub should never be above the transmission out put or you will ruin axels.

i wouldnt trade anything suspension over tein suspension. i would put money that the axle issue is cause ur getting cheap axles from discount. i had the same issue but it was the cheap axles i was getting

I ran autozone axles with no problems all motorn with basics. We don't know what height to tell you to adjust them to. What size tires are you using? Just a base idea if you can see 2 inches or more between the fender and the tire it's probably set at the right hight. We can't slam our cars like Hondas I hope you know that.....Not with those tein coilovers at least. The shop that installed the coilovers should know how to set them up.....I would hope so.......
