Not picking on you specifically, because "everyone" seems to always say that, it has been said in this thread a bunch already.
Basically......"It's just a street car."
I don't get/understand that statement. I drive my Classic 99.9999% on the street as a daily driver. Hopefully I can track it more on road courses in the future.
Which is
why I want my (daily driver) suspension to be excellent/superb.
Because I drive it every single day. Over railroad tracks. Potholes. Washboard roads. Expansion joints. Road debris. Prone dead zombies.
I do not want to slow down to a craaaaaawl when traversing those obstacles. Nor do I want my fillings to rattle out of my teeth, to be bottoming out all the time, nor to have my suspension upset when hitting a cloverleaf with a nasty and unexpected rut halfway through the curve.
Just because it is a "street car" or "daily driver" does not mean that any less thought, care, consideration and attention should be paid to the suspension.
Quality components carefully engineered as a system to provide a marked improvement in every performance parameter over the stock OEM-suspension for the given task(s).
Plenty of folks out there with stock vehicles, or modified cars, that can beat me in a straight line on a smooth road. No questions whatsover. There is a whole lot less cars that could keep up with me when the public streets
invariably turn to sh*t. Those folks are slowing dooooown while their rear-view mirror falls into their laps. While I'm still mashing the go-pedal.
Benito, I cannot wait to follow in your recent footsteps as you upgraded to CSK's. Yes, I noticed. Much better than AGX's? (A rhetorical question, I already know the answer...)
