I emailed you guys a few months ago your CSK's and never heard back from you.

Also, I was unaware that Hypercoil made coilovers, you're referring to the OE diameter springs, right? I would be interested in pillow ball camber/caster adjustable mounts that work with OE diamter springs and CSK's.. I already have Hypercoil Gen 2's and shortened koni's but I need camber plates or pillow ball mounts..

What is your current turn-a-round time for those?

Plain and simple here, I need the wind/air to go up and over and around the car not underneath the car. Better MPG. LOL I already get 39mpg with a/c on LOL. my GA16DET car went 12.20 at 115 and weighed 2200lbs that translates to about 270whp if im not mistaken. i have dyno proof of 241whp and 241ft/lbs @13.75 psi , YEARS AGO. On 93octane. up the octane a lil and the boost to 17psi well you get the drift right. http://www.cardomain.com/id/turboga16

my honest opionion depends on what you'll be using the suspension for. Spirited daily driver? Race Track? Drag Strip? For a spiritied daily driver with occassional track/autocross duty, I think one of the better setups is the custom shortened koni's (CSK's) and Gen2 Hypercoil springs if you can find any. They offer a soft ride and great handling. If you want it a little stiffer, go with RM springs or KYB AGX struts... if you have a lot of money to spend, progress makes great coilovers.. and I think you can get them on sale from Greg at G Spec Performance, Sale prices for parts for cars and trucks, some with free shipping.

The B13 doesn't do well when you lower it too much, so if you only want the slammed look, you can lower the car more, but your ride will suffer from the struts bottoming out.. oh yeah, you gotta get some quality bump stops, even if you shorten your koni struts...

anyway, sorry for being an assh0le..

hey thanks this was the info im looking for but for more peeps to chime in on their experiences.

The Suspension Thread has been posted for YOUR benefit. Read the damn thing or remain suspension ignorant.

Not likely. What you will "end up with" will probably suck much worse than the OEM suspension. It is very easy to f*ck up a B13 suspension, most folks that are too mule-headed to read, do f*ck up their suspensions.

Irrelevant. Who cares, whp has nothing to do with the suspension.

Awesome, you ask for advice and answers, we give you all the answers, in one (1) gawd-damn easy-to-read thread, and you call us morons?!? Go f*ck yourself child.

You would get a sh*t-ton of feedback within the Suspension Thread. From experts, guys that really know what they are talking about. Quotes, thread links, feedback and serious expertise.

Gee, you ever wonder what would happen to your "feedback" if a bunch of lazy, smart ass, immature, dipsh*ts that refuse to SEARCH, like yourself, answered this thread? That would be the Lazy Blind Brigade leading the Lazy Arrogant And Ignorant. Like lemmings off the f*cking cliff...

You really think that every single time some attitudinal, uneducated, NEWBIE pops onto this forum and inevitably asks about their suspension (or a set of headers, or what intake to buy, etc...etc...), that we all have the time to drop what we are doing and lay out their modification plans for them?!? The same f*cking questions, over, and over, and over.

That is WHY there is a Technical Library, a "How To" Section, and motherf*cking STICKIES.

So we, as a forum, do NOT have to answer redundant, uneducated, questions, like YOURS, over and over and over and over.....

So NEWBIE's can find their answers easily, in specific sections and threads, and ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS BE SMART ENOUGH TO FIND THE THREADS AND BE WILLING TO READ.

Please specify.

Are you meaning "good" as in "not evil" or "bad"? I don't qualify.

Are you talking about folks that will lead you along by your little ignorant nose and hand you all the answers on a silver platter because you are a lazy, slothful, immature, child who refuses to do any work for himself? Again, I do NOT qualify.

Are you talking about someone that would take several hundred hours of their time, over a period of motherf*cking years, in order to create an accurate suspension resource for the entire community? A near all-encompassing Suspension Thread based on feedback, testimony and accurate testing by folks with true expertise, in order to educate the great unwashed and ignorant masses? Devoting myself to helping out others, and finding a way to do so, just like the forums have done for me? Putting together a Suspension Bible that prints out at 81-pages of facts, expertise, opinions, feedback and information from actual experts? A Suspension Thread that you could read, if you did not refuse to do so because you are too lazy and stubborn?

If that is what you mean by "good people" then I do qualify.

Go cut your springs child, or buy some Dropzone's and call it a day.

This thing is cracking me up. I'll try to be the nice guy here and translate what ShawnB is saying into less confrontational terms so that we can avoid this thread getting out of hand and eventually locked.

Please don't be offended 1.6 se-r, ShawnB has spent 100's of hours compiling a suspension thread so that we can avoid people asking the same questions over and over again. It is not that people are not willing to help you out, but the exact same post and your first one has been put on here about 500x over the years and now every time someone puts "B13 suspension" into the search box they will have to waste their time looking at this thread.

Your Question:
The suspension thread that ShawnB created discusses all major setups that are used on these cars and provides the cost, amount of drop, and possible issues involved. A search of the "members rides" section could show you what peoples cars look like with various setups if you are more interested in esthetics than performance. People want to see that you have at least done some research before posting stuff like that. If you come with a more specific question people will be willing to offer their opinion and experience... after all, this is a forum not a database. If all people ever did was search for their answers then nobody would ever post anything and it wouldn't be a very good place to come and kill time at work. There are a lot of reasons why you don't want to "slam" a B13, they are all discussed in the suspension thread. There are ways to compensate, like coil-overs or shortened struts, but these usually aren't cheap... and if they are cheap they usually aren't that good. At the risk of getting flamed here, it sounds like you would be happy with Ksport coil-overs... however, they are not a recommended setup by people who are experts in B13 suspensions and you can read about why in the suspension thread and come to your own conclusions or ask some more specific questions to help you make an informed decision.

That means NOTHING, totally irrelevant. You are an ignorant, lazy, motherf*cker. Act like an idiotic, attitudinal NEWB, you are a NEWB, Mr. 40-Posts all for your own benefit.

You REFUSE to search because "you don't do that."

Too motherf*cking bad sh*t-for-brains.

You don't want to help yourself to the information provided? Then go weld your gawd-damned struts solid with rebar you f*cking buffoon.

I was initially very nice. I gave you every single answer you could ever want. Going out of my way to help your sorry ass.

Pleasant as possible with my first post in this thread.

You refused the information solely because you are a lazy asshole.

Then YOU posted your little RANT about how WE are the "so called Nissan GURUS act like morons and say the same thing over and over. SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH" who never help poor little bedraggled, picked-on newbies. Did you forget that?!?

That RANT of YOURS also tells everyone that YOU have been told to SEARCH on other occasions. Yet, you still refuse to do so. Like a pig-headed, doltish, snot-nosed little baby.

I read the first post and my personal reading comprehension is literally off the charts.

You ask redundant, stupid, grade-school level questions because you are too f*cking lazy and immature to do any work for yourself.

You want "opinions and feedback"?!? Re-read my answer, Mr. Reading Comprehension Of An Ashtray. What the f*ck do you think is IN THE SUSPENSION THREAD?!?

Which is it? You "don't do that" or "the search didn't give you the personal experience you were looking for"?!? It's one or the other, not both.

You did ZERO work whatsoever. Did NOT even bother to click the link for the Suspension Thread, nor did you do one iota of reSearch.

F*ck yourself if you won't do any reSearch for yourself.

We are not here to answer a bunch of stupid, redundant questions from every ignorant, admittedly lazy-as-f*ck NEWB sh*t-head who pops on the forum and admits he does not search "cause that ain't my thing."

Hey 1.6se-r I think you'll find what you're looking for here: http://www.sr20-forum.com/suspension/1801-b13-b14-b15-suspension-information.html

It's such a good source of information on our car's suspensions I felt like I went from B13 suspension newb to guru in the few days it took me to read it. I think you'll find it useful. Once you're done reading it you should come back and call Shawn a "FAG" again. That shіt never gets old. =D
