using the OE rear b13 housing for the rear with a koni yellow?? Is that a Koni yellow for a B15 Spec-V or a B14 ?? because I'm fairly confident they don't make B13 Koni Yellow inserts...

everything I've read says to B15 Spec-V Koni Yellow inserts with 4 OE front B13 housings on all 4 corners, and then you have to give up your OE sway bar (oh noes) and get a progress sway bar ...

but I have heard the rear OE B13 housings will not work with Koni yellow's...

I have not tried because I trust the guys like Steve Foltz ... I'm not one to try stuff that others say won't work...

I think you can put a spec v Yellow insert into a rear B13 housing. I believe the problem that arises has to do with the height of the strut inside the housing such that does not fit well into the car (either it is too high and you have very little strut travel or too low and it won't mount well). If you are using a B13 rear housing, I don't see how the sway won't mount up regardless of what insert you are using, the housing will have the sway attachment point. However, if you need that as an excuse to get a rear progress sway, then by all means, don't listen to a word I say! Btw, I'm not a suspension guru, I'm just trying to remember what Steve Foltz told me when he was trying to make the Yellows work with my rear B13 housings. I could be completely wrong.

edit: This is referring to non-coilover applications. I believe you can use spec v inserts in the rear with a coilover set-up like the OP is trying. How the coilover needs to be installed over the strut to make it work is totally beyond me.

I also wanted to add that most of the posts in this particular thread are from B14 owners, in which case no rear housings are needed as the Koni struts are a bolt in affair.
