help with my csks
well i got some csks with spec v yellow inserts!!! i ran in to a problum when i tryed to put my gc sleave over the top of the strut it hits on the bump stop perch. what do i do to fix this problum?? i have read that i need to modifiy the spring pearch also. can some one tell me how this is done with the instert already in the sleave?? or piont me in the right derection thanks

You'll have to grind down till you can slip the sleeve on.

well thats what i was thinking thanks but just makin sure. now what about the sleave now its going to be sittin in side the spring perch not a good spot by just looking at it. what do i do about that????

Where else is it suppose to sit? You could cut off most of it and make a nice flat perch if you get ambitious. Or you can cut the sleeve to match the contour of the perch.

Remember to cover the top seals and the strut shaft when you grind the lip off.....

i am using the b13 housing, can i weld the coilover to the housing, after i cut off the spring perch???

Im sure you could if you wanted to weld aluminum to steel... Just leave a lip from the stock perch or make a new perch and weld that where you want it.

Do not weld on a filled strut. You will overheat the internals. If you need to weld make sure the insert is out of the case when you do.
