Thread: thumping noise...

i searched and searched, but no luck.. I been driving my car for a while and runs great, i recently steeped on the gass and was ripping tires. after that i started hearing this noise on the right side like a knocking.. only when i take off fast or if i am driving and i tap the accelerator it make a thumping sound on the right side.. just changed bearings sway bar bushings and ball joints, no luck.. any suggestions?? the noise is not there if i don't rev hard or change gears hard...

passenger side engine mount?

I had a similar sound a couple of weeks back, turned out to be the strut hat.

Check your engine mounts. It sounds to me like you tore one up while you were "ripping tires."
