Jeez man, that's terrible, I hope you get it fixed soon. Don't feel too bad: I had a list of (cheapie) mods/things to do today starting with changing the driver's side door hinges, ended up spending the 5 or so hours I'd set aside fighting that damn door (2 hours wasted trying to put fender-side screws on door hinges before we realized it), and finally ending up with too much gap in the front (water leaked when I washed it after) and bending the **** out of the bottom of the door in 2 places, aside from having to wait another week for another day off to do everything else I was going to do. Woot!

FWIW, I did the one side with a new wheel bearing into an existing knuckle to reduce my car's downtime.

Another option is to find a lower-mileage B14 knuckle and hub at a junkyard or car part-out. It drops right into the B13s.

Replace it before it destroys your hub. A hub is a dealer only item, thus will cost you at least $100.

I did my wheel bearing at home, check this out: http://www.sr20-forum.com/members-rides/200-vadims-99-sentra-se-l-92.html#post254791

go to the wrecking yard and get the entire knuckle/hub. Cheap and its easier to change out. I got mine from the bone yard for my old B14 and they guaranteed it for six months. I think I paid $50 or so...

I think I need to make a guide on how to do wheel bearings. After doing approximately 12 wheel bearings I would consider myself fairly experienced on the subject. The way Vadim did it is a bit more crude method, but works. I am not a big fan of beating on everything with hammers as it could promote hairline stress fractures. I got a $120 shop press from Harbor Freight and it has paid for itself tenfold.

I agree, if you can avoid it then do, I was running out of options. We don't have harbor freight in this area either
