You need to flip the mount bracket on the block the other way it is upside down.

There is even an arrow that is suposed to points up on the bracket and you have it pointing down.

This puts alot of strss on the front mount and causes it to oval out the hole in the mount.

I am sure you are hearing a metal on metal sound on deceleration where it knocks.

Thanks Dre.

Good thing I posted the pics.

And you are very good to read the pics as they were not taken at good angle but guess you saw the secondary pipes.

Peace

Buy a new mount I think you will be happier in the end. I was thinking of a way to do that before, and I figured that it will just fracture in the same spot since that area will always be the weak link in the mount.

^ Second. McMaster-Carr sells a 2-part polyurethane rubber kit that you can use to fix the mount, but the smallest kit they have costs 3x as much as a new front mount. You may as well just get another set to pop in there.

Here is a pic of the new mount in and the correct orientation of braket. Thanks again Dre.

And Reedom, no the back mount was not damaged. Exactly what Dre said. Bracket was turned wrong so the centre was worn.

Glad I posted the earlier pics, otherwise I would have replaced it and have the same problem.

Peace
