For those with MOOG tie rod ends.
I have read about a 1000 threads about this... well at least 100.

My SE-R has moog tie rod ends. I'm pretty sure inner and outer (Bought like this). The problem is the turning radius is much larger that a normal SE-R. I have been dealing with this for years because well I dunno why... because I haven't fixed it.

Anyone have a fix or similar experience? Just a comment.

I thing it's something in the steering rack itself that is keeping you from reaching full lock. Anybody know how many turns you should have from lock to lock?

I'm pretty sure they were installed properly. I'll check how many turns I have from lock to lock and then do my NX. The NX should be the same.

~2.75 turns more-or less on both cars. lock to lock.

As long as your alignment is good there's nothing about the tire rod ends that would change your turning circle.

They can be installed so that your turning circle going one direction is much different than the other direction. This can be corrected.

No its wide in both directions. I can't think of another thing that is out of the ordinary about my front end.

i am a front end mechanic and moog is the top of the line inn front end parts and they are lil bit different and my be longer than dealer or other brands . nothing to worry about or you can change them iff you dont like it. but if your alignment is good then dont bother

MOOG stuff is really nice. I've seen it up close many times. I just want my normal turning radius back. It turns like a cadillac.

Something must be wrong with your rack or something else. If your alignment is even halfway good then that means the length of the inner + outer tie rods is correct. That means your turning radius should be normal. You can't blame it on the tie rod ends I don't think.
