Custom Shortened Koni

Forgive my ignorance, it knows no bounds, please educate me.

Does it matter whether the customer is using GC coilover springs or a traditional spring? Ie...will the perch (or anything else) be any different on your Overkill CSK's for someone using Hyperco/RM/other traditional springs VS. GC coilover sleeves?

FYI: I currently have Hypercoil Gen II springs with AGX's. (Koni bumpstops, Superpro caster bushings, Cusco FSTB, BIB 3-point RSTB, IKEA brace, Stephens Fender Braces, Progress Rear Sway Bar, OEM front sway bar, Progress lower control arm brace, and a fully foamed chassis.) I want the same set-up, bolt-in, set-it, forget it, and "go!". However, ditching the AGX's and replacing them with your Overkill Engineering CSK's.

Also, your outrageously beefy 3-point FSTB just got added to my "future suspension purchase list." I am pretty sure that my chassis is not stiff enough just yet.

The perch will be the factory perch. For custom jobs we can do as Wes did and cut off the factory perch and weld on new rings to run coilovers. (The ones we have for sale now will work with sleeve overs). There is not turning back from this however?

We will eventually have a CSK with options such as coilovers using Hyperco race springs in varying rates. I would suggest you go with the Koni Yellow (specV) so you can tune the dampening to your style on the go without removing the strut to adjust, as needed with the reds.

H&R's will work perfectly well with CSK's as a DD. No problems whatsoever.

Actually, I'd love to hear your feedback on that set-up. It should handle better than stock (20-30% stiffer springs), with nearly full OEM suspension travel (losing less than half an inch), lowered center of gravity, much bettter than stock (Koni insert) struts, and ahem.....it will have a nice drop.

That should be quite good until you upgrade to.....Hyperco or RM I would guess.

Yessir, that is what I was thinking.

I quote Pretty White on his impression of Eibachs (whatever Eibachs drop the car the least....) and CSK's. On sh*tty NYC roads. And he loves the set-up on his DD.

Is is very, very similar to H&R/CSK.

You should start a thread on your impressions when you slap those CSK's on with the H&R's.

This whole thread is going into The Suspension Thread under "where to buy pre-built CSK's".
