I'll take your old 3" off you for cheap

It will be for sale at some point this winter. It will include the 3" piping, the couplings, N60 MAF and adapter, 3" velocity stack, and 6" filter.

Consider getting the DET main bearings and cutting the oiling slots in the block to allow oil to the additional oiling holes in the DET bearings.

-VE fuel rail and injectors

You really don't need to upgrade fuel supply for as basic a build as this, but it doesn't hurt, I guess. What are you using for engine management?

Other:
-Exedy stage 3 pressure plate
-JWT clutch disc

Very overkill for this engine, are you buying ahead for a larger build?

No point in changing out the MAF for larger on such a stock motor either.

Clarification though, are you going with SR20VE pistons or SR16VE pistons?

motor is basically all back together already or else I would have done this

I got a good deal on them and I also might throw a small shot of nitrous thru the motor so it doesn't hurt to have the supporting mods in place already..will upgrade the pump soon as well once the car is up and going..and I'll be running a JWT ECU once I can get my hands on one

I drive my cars hard..very hard..plus I got a great deal on the pressure plate..and I also have the JWT heavy duty clutch kit and flywheel in my Maxima and I really like it so I figured I would put the same thing in this car

No point in changing out the MAF for larger on such a stock motor either.

car will be tuned at some point soon so like I said I'll have everything all in place so it can just be done when I have the time to do so

And to clarify that I got the sr20ve pistons..again I bought those because I got a really great deal on them..so I went ahead with those

Yeah, i'm just saying that with just the little bump in compression from the 20VE pistons, you really aren't going to be putting out that much more power. I drove the piss out of my race car with an Excedy Stage 2 and never did it slip. I just hated the feel of that disc in the end, but it worked fine.

For reference, my setup is a highport DE, SR16VE pistons with larger valve reliefs (11.6:1), ACL race bearings, ARP everywhere, Cometic MLS head gasket, SR16VE N1 water pump, SR20VE oil pump, GSpec underdrive pulley & VE pump spacer, BC Stage 2 cams, adjustable cam gears, stock fuel rail, DET 370cc injectors, Walbro 255HP, generic header, 2.5" straight exhaust, NismotronicSA ECU. Stock MAF, and definitely not maxing it out. Thing absolutely screams.

As long as you have a programmable ECU and can tune for the larger injectors and MAF, they're not going to hurt, but they aren't going to add any power either. I'd spend the money on a basic eBay header long before I'd bother with the MAF. Just my $0.02.

You will have room to grow with this setup. I idid not have a great experience with Exedy in my B14. I went with the JWT PP and B15 disk in the P10 and it has held up great. It works well and is proven reliable. It is not overkill for any setup, it just works.

Working out a deal for a header right now..a hotshot one..already have an exhaust on the car..this was all just focused on the motor itself..and I wanted all this to be solid and reliable and last a long time..and you don't understand abuse til you see what my cars go thru haha

And I also bought an intake that came with a MAF so I'm just going to roll with it..and like I said I may throw a little NOS thru this for some fun..and the injectors and MAF are a couple supporting mods for that

I could pick up a set of BC cams but I've heard some horror stories about them so I am now unsure about them..so I may go with JWT cams and an ECU

also keep in mind I purchased this motor basically complete..it just had a fucked piston so they got replaced with a set of VE's which set me back only $60 so I couldn't pass it up..and the other things that I added were basically the clutch and flywheel setup
