If interested, I have flow numbers for a stock VE head compared to my +1mm valved and mildly ported highport head (it's a RWD head, but very similar if not the same ports). I also have pics of the port work. It was done by Portflow Design, and the numbers for both heads were on their machine. Definitely an interesting thread, I'll keep checking it out for sure.

Anything you can add is great! AND greatly appreciated because it just adds to the pool of information.

Here's the flow comparison:

Some pictures I have of the head:

Close up of work done behind the valve seat

Before work in the combustion chamber

After work in the combustion chamber

Some mild port work, You can see about mid-tunnel the casting is still there. Thinking back, I wish I would have cleaned that up a bit.

As you can see the RWD highport is very similar to the FWD highport heads. I think the only difference is location of the distributor/CAM angle sensor and the timing chain chamber at the from is larger on the RWD heads (again for the difference of sensor location).

These are Ferrea +1mm valves (WPC treated)

Sorry the pictures aren't fantastic, but hopefully it gives you a little idea of what I had done.

Edit:
Oh and for what it's worth, here's my dyno sheet to show power band (although it's a turbo, not N/A) with Tomei 260 duration / 12mm lift cams with solid lifters and a Greddy intake manifold (shorter/larger runners and larger plenum):
