Wow, they must be made from actual shit. Lol. I just got a quote from UPS to send my used JMR header from PA to CA and it was exactly $114 just for the shipping cost

Or volume discounts.

Paying the extra 100 and buying from the SSAC site would be your best bet. I understand it is the knockoff to the HOTSHOT, but it's the original knockoff with the good jigs from the Farmboss Group buys on the OG forum. Those eBay headers are trash. The flange to head is not flush, the egr bung will leak if you keep egr like the 00-02 G20 usually have to do. It will make you wish you would have followed my first sentence. I'll be trashing my eBay header and getting one from them before winter comes in.

^ interesting because our ebay copycat SSAC went for 6 years and still going on our track rat g20 without issue! (and yes, the flange had to be filed down initially for proper fitment but we block off the EGR anyway so no worries here)

...aka, not worth spending the extra $100 in our case when we could file down the flange on our own thanks!

ahhhh so the ones on Ebay are *NOT* the SSAC headers but a different brand..That's what I was trying to figure out earlier in the thread.

These cheap headers do work well for the most part and fit well however the big difference is the coatings, you see a difference in them after just a few drives, the finish dulls and then almost disappears.

Coatings? Most of them just use a shitty metal and that is why they change color, rust, and eventually break.

That being said, my weapon R header (cannot buy anymore) fit perfect and had no leaks at EGR. My 2nd header needed the far left and far right holes enlarged in order to fit over the outermost exhaust studs and the EGR slightly leaks. Also, the secondary flex pipe took a huge dump this past winter but it seems to be the typical life span for a car up here that gets driven during the winter season. (about 3 years)

Here is another header @Keo found. Seems to be XS brand.

and what appears to be the same brand but an older version with all three provisions for a little less money. No idea about fitment.

Regarding the EGR leak..I went back and reviewed/read the guys threads.

Looks like all he does is take the O2 sensor nut that's in the stock header: Part # 20607 P6500 (or just try and unscrew it out of your own header or pretty much *any* Nissan at the junkyard)..

Then cut off the threaded section that's sticking out and sand one side down so it acts like a washer or flat edge..then screw this into the EGR on the Ebay header..

The guy's thread: SSAC Installed

I'm guessing what the guy was doing was going to junkyards..taking the O2 nuts out of headers then cutting and sanding them down and selling them. Basically costs him nothing to make except some time.
