Custom NX2000 Headlight scoop
This idea just came to me since I'm a couple months away from finishing my high compression build. I was wondering if anybody thought of making/designing a headlight scoop/velocity stack for a nx2000. I was thinking of using a velocity stack and cutting it to fit through my headlight like most people do but I can probably trap more air in by taking advantage of the nx2000 headlight scoop since it's about 2 1/2 times bigger than your average velocity stack. Just a thought. My cuz and I are going to experiment a bit and see if we can come up with something. I haven't seen a lot of all motor nx builds on here so I might be the only one who feels this way.

Are you going to be driving on the street? If this is an all out track car I guess its no inconvenience to permanently remove the headlight.

Yea it's going to be my street/track car. Kinda 50/50. I have the mk3's installed so there really isn't much to remove that headlight. Only two bolts keep it in place. The hardest thing is taking off both bumpers and putting them on; has to be quick

They really are. You can always eliminate a bunch of bolts to make the process a bit quicker. This was just an idea tho

run an arc box and make a scoop that only draws from the driver side headlight

I've always liked the idea of this. Alot of the Honda guys did it back in the day, but it's because the headlights come out so much easier. My bumper is lacking some of the original bolts, and I can get it off pretty quick.

Hell I wouldn't be past using a civic radiator, and putting a hole in my bumper itself for the intake lol.
