If your car still has closed loop fuel control, I would just focus on the WOT tuning, since you have probably spent some time with the partial throttle tuning on the street.
- Make a few pulls to establish a baseline.
- Watch the AFR curve to see if its where you want it, get that dialed in
- Set the Cam switch over point to a low RPM make a pull
- Set the Cam switch over point to a high RPM make a pull
- Set the Cam switch over point to RPM where the TQ lines of the two previous graphs cross

With those items complete, then I would mess with Ignition timing.
- Add 2 deg at a time to see what makes power, and where (RPM)
- I would venture to guess that a NA SR20 with good fuel is not knock limited, meaning that the motor will stop making power before it begins to knock.

Don't be anxious, or nervous, I'll be in the car to help you out and answer questions if you have them. My thing is, don't be afraid to ask if you're concerned about something. There are no stupid questions.

^Very good advice.

The only thing a would add is the VE is knock limited below 3,000 rpm. It will knock like crazy below 3K rpm at wot, if the timing is not right.

Just got home, had a great time.

I have to wait to get the charts but I base-lined 169.6whp, and after one hour we were at 180.8whp.

Nearly all of that power was due to me being fairly lean, which John had pointed out to me when I was there a few months back.

After the afr was richened down to about 13.5-13.0 we tried bumping and then pulling the timing and couldn't really get a positive change at all, so it looks like the map I had was fairly good for the motor.

Overall pretty happy, my friend with a civic si K20 said he put down 196whp in his ek hatch with intake/header/exhaust on the same dyno.

John, the operator, was professional and extremely helpful in getting the process started I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. I believe this was the first ve he has tuned, however he was familiar with Nissan Data Scan and Tuner RT Pro.

Charts to come soon, I hope.

Edit: I also wanted to add the realtime was a complete breeze to use, and made things allot faster and easier, we managed to do 25 pulls in the short time span. Worth every penny.

Thank you sir. It's just enough so I can notice it all the time. Luckily since it was a uniform increase across the torque band it feels better...everywhere.

Yeah man it was awesome to meet you finally! Cool to see another member in person as I have only met a few. I'm really glad you made it over. Keep in touch, I'm telling you you got to come out to an autocross soon! And your car is cleaner then you give it credit

Yeah John is the man very patient and calm, he helped answer all of my questions and after just a few minutes I was off and tuning. It was a great feeling.

Man I was really pissed I didn't get over to RLZ, school was kicking my ass I had my midterms this last week since I am now on spring break.

What is with us NC guys reading low? I don't like this trend. It is true that those dynapacks are known to read low, and it really matters how he has it calibrated. Did you ask him what local k20's put down on that dynapack?
I'm sure you know how I feel we both gained 10whp, feels better don't it?
I want to see us both over 200whp someday
