It looks like you'll need an adapter http://forums.nicoclub.com/kw-v3-with-tein-pillow-mount-on-s-chassis-t578501.html

I've been running the KW's for over two years and agree that they are very good quality. I don't mind missing adjustable top mounts since I only track the car 4 times a year. The only design element that I wish was different is the placement of the shock adjustment at the top rather than the bottom of the strut.

Just because the cheap stuff comes with them, doesn't mean they are any good however. Cheap stuff is made with.rubbish material and fail to properly do its job fairly early in it's lifespan or just fail entirely

KW did this so people could use the stock upper mounts to aid in day to day NVH. Fairly Clever for a dd/some track suspension.

It's still fuking retarded, it's like the old stage 1 or stage 3 modification thought process the Japanese used back In the day only this isn't back in the day.

Are you really comparing a properly developed mindset and dampers to what the Japanese did back in the day/out whatever?

Go buy your jdm setup then of you want pillowball upper mounts thay badly lol

Giving credit where its due; you have a nice ride. Now I can understand the recent exchange of words, we're two IT guys that are strong-headed; I am a systems admin for a financial institution.

Good stuff and keep the updates coming.

Wait till you see Stage 2 where the VET goes in. This stage is my stubborn stage to get done with the project goals I started way back. I'm sure I can hit the 2nd goal and run a 11 second 1/4 mile with the whp I have.

Got some money together to buy some tires for my rims. Got the BFG comp sport 2's, 255-40-17 and 275-40-17's.

Rears

Fronts

Need to get the rear fenders pulled and rolled, Fronts are fine even with the 3mm spacer to clear the Z calipers. Pulled the head off today because I still had a persistent problem with the coolant system building pressure and pushing coolant. Going to take the turbo down to the turbo shop and have them prob rebuild it with billet wheel.

I haven't really done much just driving the car trying to find my lost WHP again!!!! I started to get sparkblow out random times so I'm assuming that the coils are going bad. Borrowed a set of coils from my friends RB25 that hasn't moved in 6 years and still same thing. I suspect that something with the power to the coils maybe in the harness? not 100% sure yet. I was going to redo the power to the coils with a relay and 12v from the battery, Then I thought to myself "will they take that kind of abuse? Will I melt on of these coils. Why don't I just upgrade to some LS2 truck coils!" . So That's what I am doing at this moment. I Need to make a new connector since this mode eliminates the ignitior. I'm mounting mine right on top of the plug since it seems easy enought.

I'm not 100% yet on how I'm going to secure them from moving around but I might reuse the stock plate and weld something onto it so I can bolt the coil to the plate.

A little over kill but what the hell might as well learn a little since I'm going to do the same coils when I switch motors.
