Locating major parts
Ive got a friend wanting to sell a 240 for next to nothing. a running auto s13 coupe no sun roof for like 1500, i might could get it less since we are friends. how hard is a 5speed swap when you throw in a sr20? where can you find the trannies? we have tons of parts cars in the junk yards here for stuff like pedals and such. but how do-able is it? i dont know what ill do yet...ive not even sit in the car to see if my 6'5" frame will fit...but i was thinking ya know....

Kevin, I posted in answer to your question in the general forum, but here's what you'll need (in addition to the tranny):

Clutch master
Clutch slave
Line from master to slave - OEM hard line or aftermarket braided line
Clutch pedal assembly
Manual-tranny brake pedal, or hack the left side of the auto brake pedal off
Manual tranny driveshaft (make sure to get ABS or non-ABS depending on your chassis)
Manual tranny crossmember and tranny mount

You may or may not need the lower (tranny) harness, I'm not sure on that one. The best 5-speed writeup, especially for the wiring, is on... wait for it... NICO. I'll dig up the link at some point.

I think that's it, but I could be wrong.

yea NICO isnt half bad. Torry is tied to that place.

i figured might as well stay on topic and put this in the proper place.

I figure something simple maybe. and calum would be doing the ecu. so a redtop most likely.

but i dont know...think maybe house first. and still pushing to sell the NX first

For the hard line, just head over to your nissan dealer. They're like 15 bucks and nice and easy to bend
