or is making one last junk yard trip this weekend before the convention.

I have yet to EVER see a good downpipe in a junkyard (and never EVER a cat)... reason being is junkyards cut them out all sloppy ruining a downpipe in the process. I don't believe they are legally allowed to leave cats inside the cars actually....

Yeah, I can see decent ones in southern and western states, not here in the salt belt. Theres a lazy ass junk yard up here that leaves everything on the car. I bet they wouldnt hesitate to sell a cat for a couple bucks regardless the law. Most yards cut them off. Hell this one near me leaves them, license plates, batteries...everything still in them bitches

Every self-service junk yard I've been in over the past 10 years in Phoenix never has them in there (I don't often frequent our rust belt yards) Perhaps it is different elsewhere but not where I've been in Phoenix area (or Tucson area or LA area now that I think of it)

I still think Speedhole is being lazy and cheap.

They are probably only a few dollars more brand new than used, considering the fact that junkyards charge koo koo bucks for anything with the word "catalytic" in it.

I was more so talking about the downpipe, which in my junk would cost me $11, but im in the salt belt, so most if not all are too rusted out. I'm just trying to help my pops out here. I just feel I wanted him to save as much $$ as possible because Cancer medicine is expensive, my bad.

Then, if you want to help, buy him the parts then.........A SSAC downpipe is less than 100. Or just buy a EBAY one for cheaper. They are all the same.

Having someone else pulling the parts for YOU, is not helping HIM (unless you go do the dirty work and pull it yourself) The people pulling the parts and spending thier time doing it are........

Sorry, I still think you are being lazy.

P.S Please don't pull the "your dad has cancer" guilt trip. I am very sorry to hear however!

Wait wait wait, perhaps my initial comment was misleading when I said "can someone pull me" and mentioned that the junk yards up here had nothing good. I'm merely asking for anyone who has one laying around, not that someone go to the yard specifically for me to get one. I know 3 people at least that have them laying around but would have to ship. I'm just asking if someone brought it to the convention it was save on shipping. I can see where you assumed I was asking for someone to go to the junk yard for me, I didnt use proper phrasing. My apologies.
