I definitely *WANT* to race but have an intimate relationship with Murphy and her laws and would not want something to fail ~1400 miles from home...

One of the cool things about the Convention is when someone's car breaks (notice I said "when"...lol), there will be at least 20 people that will be willing to help you. Most of the hardcore guys will have parts, tools and extensive knowledge to get you back on the road in no time. Tranny and motor swaps are not out of the question, either. In '06 I was flat-bedded in to the event and guys like Cody Ace, George from CA and a few others, had my NX running in like 10 minutes. Last year, Emilee blew a clutch on the way to Atlanta and Jamie and associates took care of it. I wouldn't let break downs stop you. In the end, it's part of the fun. Make sure you hook up with a caravan to and fro, and you'll be fine.

Yepper, hardly any wheel to wheel racing going on these days. Ain't like it used to be!

And the awesome keyhole photo with dust.

LOL @ "two-ton bank vault" Your BMW would wear a Sentra like a nightie.

P.S. Thanks for the rasp last time, @hammerin hank

If it comes down to it, I'll join Hank in owning two spots. Frankly, I feel like I'm cheating getting a track day for only $130.

While I know this to be true...I don't want it to happen to me. We shall see...
