More than likely I will attend this event, not so much for the track, more for seeing some cool people.
However I'm not 100% committed until I do my brake conversion on the b14. I have all the parts, just need to install them.

if you miss the convention because of a brake conversion that is just sadddddd

half the guys going dont even have motors in their cars including myself

At the 2013 convention I was in a 2013 mustang. Got the brakes boiling and they faded out on that straight at 110mph. Not a fun experience when the pedal hits the floor and you aren't stopping.
The b14 stock brakes are far too small hence the requires upgrade.
Safety first.

His point was the fact that a brake conversion only takes a couple hours tops...while many others that *WILL* be attending, don't even have their motors installed in a car yet! We all understand track safety...we also know how long a brake conversion takes.

Heck, I'll be there and I'm re-doing my entire front end (bumper and all kinda stuff), putting on new tires, new front brake pads, new STB's, new MAF setup, messing with the battery

AMP /= NL. Nelson is by far the easiest track for brakes that I've ever been too.

Put your AARP cards away fellas. I'll bring the "72 year old kid" and he will settle this. His birthday will actually be on the 23rd of June. We are staying an extra day for the travel home to be a bit nicer.

Damn, Yah, i'm not anywhere close to 72. You win.

I'm sorry fellas, I am going to be a last minute entry guy. As much as I love these events, I have missed all of them except Savannah and Atlanta (I'm in GA). Travel for me is tough. Hard to commit to something when I have my son 50% of the time, job stuff pops up, and the fact I haven't even started on the brake swap. I know excuses, I'm just not as motivated to work on cars like I use to.
