Joe, I always wanted to ask you what the tomahawks represent on your helmet. Number of events, tracks, old girlfriends....what? Just curious.

Cool story as to how I got my helmet done. I was working at the convention center and a sports business show was in town. I was walking the floor and saw a bunch of helmets at this booth. Walked over and started talking, found out his company reconditioned helmets for about 40 college football teams including FSU. I told him I had thought about having my helmet painted with FSU colors. Since it was white, he offered to paint it along with Florida State's when he did them in the spring for free. All I had to do was pay for shipping. I of course took him up on the offer, he even put the spears on the sides and sent me a bunch of tomahawks to use as I saw fit. In 2007 I was able to start with 47 and now add another each year
