I much preferred Ohio 2012 drag day because of the mix versus 2013 Atlanta drag day where it was just us. I will admit "grudge" races were a lot easier to line up when it was just us, but the energy and excitement of the day IMO was better with the locals mixed in.

Just my 2ยข. Not a huge deal either way.

I like this idea.

Would be cool if they decided to just make either Friday or Saturday an import night. That would limit the number of cars, we wouldn't be charged with private track access, and can pick on some local imports...like the emarsh vs honda guys shootout in 2012.

That was epic. One of the highlights of the convention for me.
Those hondas would not give up,I will say that...spanking after spanking

Quick question. Can you tell me off the top of your head if this is a "pre paid, non-refundable rate"? I'm attempting to work out some ridiculous logistics with this and figuring all my options. If you don't know the answer I'll just call the front desk, Miles Long style.

I booked with my card, Todd. They said then I have till 6 day of stay to cancel or change. So I would say most, or all is refundable if u make changes.

I'm on the fence about renting the dragstrip vs just going. I see Ben's point about the diversity of cars, but then you get the 8 second Mustangs (like 10 of them) stinking up the place with their fuel and burnouts (I found chunks of a tire in my radiator the day after I was behind one at the track) - it seems to be Mustang Mustang Mustang and then another Mustang.

I will let everyone know what we decide. As of now it may just be a test and tune. I will also be posting final prices for Nelson Ledges.
