I'm so glad yall scheduled this on June 19th weekend. I am going to be out of town June 13th weekend for my birthday and was secretly crossing my fingers it didn't fall on that date. Which is why I missed last year.

Considering Dollying miata up for the track day and blowing it up!

Boosted Miata mudbogging? awesome!

If there is water, there will possibly be mud... and it will likely be on my car.

I will likely be in the back of B group at the start of the day if I bring the baby car.

Nothing 100% yet. Just so you guys know I am trying to work out a deal so that we can rent out the drag strip exclusively for us on Friday, June 20th. I am hoping we can avoid a typical test and tune night but, that is a option. I just feel it would be cool to have the track all to ourselves. I hope to know here soon if this can work out.

Regardless a drag day will happen. Either it be Friday or Saturday.

So gravel tossers won't be causing a problem with the "big boi V8", damn!

Personally, I prefer not having the track to ourselves. As long as the line of cars isn't stupid-long I think we all get more than enough runs in, and I prefer to see a more diverse mix of cars out there. Maybe this is not a popular opinion? I much preferred Ohio 2012 drag day because of the mix versus 2013 Atlanta drag day where it was just us. I will admit "grudge" races were a lot easier to line up when it was just us, but the energy and excitement of the day IMO was better with the locals mixed in.

Just my 2¢. Not a huge deal either way.

I would say if we have our own lanes and have some sort of priority it would be ok. But i would not want to only be able to get 2-3 runs in. Or, if we have the track to ourselves during the day and then our own lanes during the normal test and tune.

I like this idea.

Would be cool if they decided to just make either Friday or Saturday an import night. That would limit the number of cars, we wouldn't be charged with private track access, and can pick on some local imports...like the emarsh vs honda guys shootout in 2012.
