I have one thing to say to all of the "I want the convention to be in ******* so I can attend one close to me" people

GROW THE FUCK UP

This happens every year about this time. If you want a convention in your back yard then here is what you need to do: grow some ballz, put your big boy pants on, and bring a chair over to the adult table. Those of us that do the work every year to pull off the convention would love some more help. And here is a really outrageous thought - consider coming to a convention that is not close to you first. Think about it like this. If you aren't willing to come to the conventions we are already hosting, which by the way are attended by people from all over these United States, why would anyone come to your convention? It's going to be you and your local friends. Over here at the adult table we call that a meet.

End Rant

I have a feeling that in 2014 there will be a lot of cars faster than that. A lot of big turbo cars will be attending as well as some nasty NA cars.

Red B13 from Ohio has that covered!

Dragway 42 hooks well. If timing works out maybe a group of us can hit up Norwalk. Now that track hooks dirty!

The cars ran better in 2012. I was pretty consistant in 2012 with 16.5's. I ran about the same times in GA only with a bunch of new mods. I should have been running 15.7's. Both the track and the heat and humidity killed our times.

I'm guessing people that ran in GA will see a second or better improvements in 2014...provided it's not 95 and humid as fack..

+1, a local convention hasn't been around the Phoenix area since 2002, yet I still drive across country or fly out for conventions, man up or just don't show up and let us enjoy!
